{cerulean blue}
The name of a colour is just as exciting to me as the colour itself. It never ceases to excite me when trying to guess the hue of a crayon called:
"Inchworm," "Mountain Meadow," and "Caribbean," ~ greens
"Cornflower," "Outer Space," and "Pacific" ~ blues
"Orchid," "Eggplant," and "Wisteria" ~ purples.
Some of my favorite quotes about crayons (and colour, of course):
I cannot pretend to feel impartial about colors. I rejoice with the brilliant ones and am genuinely sorry for the poor browns. ~Winston Churchill
Never invest in any idea you can't illustrate with a crayon. ~Peter Lynch
My childhood smells like a box of Crayola crayons. ~Jessi Lane Adams
